There are 160 students, several tutors and guests living at the College. There are only 74 parking bays so parking is at a premium. If there are any bays left, first year country girls get first option. There is parking at the back of the College, though St. George's does not guarantee it. However, you are more than welcome to bring a bicycle to College and access to public transport is excellent.

Each room has its own telephone and Internet port. We are part of the University's system so our access to the Net is state of the art when it comes to logging on. Phone cards may be purchased from the office for outside calls. In addition, public phones for local, interstate and overseas calls are available.

The Senior Student allocates returning students to their rooms of choice first. Freshers are allocated the remaining rooms knowing that in years to come they choose where they want to stay.

We are continually upgrading our security with added lighting, security grills and safety talks to students. There has not been an incident at this College for many years and we want to keep it that way. If you ever feel concerned about your safety you can always ring the Duty Tutor, Sub Warden or Warden.
