Storm Repairs: Up-Date

By early afternoon today (Thursday) the new roofs to each wing will have been completed.
There has been a huge demand for glaziers as a result of the storm. Glaziers have been on site and done some measuring. The glaziers are scheduled to be installing glass to the northern faces of North and South on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 9, 10, 11 April. Residents are reminded of the presence of tradesmen at these times and are asked to behave (dress, etc) appropriately.
Power is being restored to South G & A today and tomorrow (Thursday and Friday)
The top floor of South is being completed gutted and these works have nearly been completed.
Residents are scheduled to be able to move back into South G, South A and North B from 4.30pm on Friday 9 April. Please check at Front Office to confirm this on Friday afternoon.
South B is scheduled to be ready for occupation during the week 3 – 7 May. I will provide updates for this from time to time.
The New Kitchen and Servery and facilities underneath are likely to become available at the end of next week; about Friday 16 April. Students who have stored some of their belongings in the ‘Music Room’ under the New Servery are at liberty to retrieve these belongings at their convenience.
